A little Re-Cap

AHHH...we cannot believe it is already March?? Where did February go? It seems to have ended a couple days early.​

As short as it was it has been a great month here at Monster HQ. We opened on new online shop​, learned to make tutus (who knew monsters liked tutus?) and MOST IMPORTANT we were able to spread a little bit-o-awesome to Realities for Children and to our friend Caroline who was in the hospital.

​We also started planning our big Monster Makers event that will be in May, it is going to be great but we will post more about that very soon, so stay tuned and know that we could not do any of this without y'all awesome monster likers!

What A Smile!

The monsters from our Monster sew are out joining some new families and having a great time, just ask Paige! Paige's monster was sewn by our monster friend Jenifer and her family during our monster sew to benefit the Red Cross and those children affected by the fires in Colorado. THANKS JENIFER!

The Biggest Monster Sew EVER!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

A Monster to Love is partnering with the mental health workers of the Red Cross who are working with the children who have been evacuated because of the fires in Colorado. If you have been watching the news lately you know that we are going to need a TON of monsters!

A ton of monsters for those who are not sure is 200-300.

So we are organizing the biggest monster sew in the history of the world! We are working to plan our Emergency Monster Sew for the weekend of July 7th and 8th. We are going to need a lot of help, we are going to need sewers, stuffers, eye ball putter oners, any special or not so sprecial talent you might have we want all of you!

We hope to have several sewing stations and as soon as we have all of the details we will be posting it right here. 

Until then PLEASE feel free to contact us with ideas on how you might be able to help us out. We can do this but we need YOUR help!

Monster Drop #8

We are very excited to announce Monster Drop Numero Ocho!!

We are even more excited that along with Monster Drop Numero Ocho comes a new partner, The Tennyson Center for Children.

The Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home has grown to become one of the Rocky Mountain region's leading treatment centers and K-12 schools for emotionally and crisis-affected children and youth, particularly those suffering from abuse and neglect. We serve children ranging in age from 5-18 and we are dedicated to ensuring that these amazing kids having the fighting chance they deserve at a satisfying and fulfilling life. We do not have an exact date for the drop yet but it will be one day next week and we will definitely post a follow-up for y'all when it does happen.

Monster Sew, Monster Drop!

Today the boys, Tracey from US-Reports and I visited Realities for Children for Monster Sew Monster Drop!

We delivered 50+ monsters...it was a great day!

Many of our children have been ripped from their home with no notice, no explanation and no comfort.
